The Annual Quality Report (AQR; formerly the Annual Institutional Quality Report) is submitted by institutions to QQI on an annual basis. It provides details of institutions’  internal quality assurance.  The AQR template has been developed with reference to the ENQA (the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) and QQI's Statutory Quality Assurance Guidelines are based. The annual reports for the past three reporting periods can be accessed by clicking on the relevant institution in the table below.

Summary of Annual Quality Reports

QQI prepares an annual summary of the AQRs to collate data provided; to identify themes occurring across the institutions; and to highlight quality activities undertaken during the reporting period. 
For QQI, and the wider public, this publication demonstrates the many QA activities being undertaken across institutions and the resulting improvements implemented.  The focus of the report is on improving the student experience and teaching and learning activities.  The report provides institutions with the opportunity to highlight common themes across the sector and facilitates the sharing of good practice among institutions.
